Dunia & Aram’s musical partnership spans decades and genres, from Dunia’s seminal ska punk band Agent 99 to their reggae soul project Dubistry & pioneering neo-soul group Brave New Girl. Dubistry: Danceable Fusion of Dub, Ska, and Jazz
Dubistry was founded in Los Angeles in 2003 by Dunia Best, Aram Sinnreich and Matt Urbania and in 2007 was joined by Todd Nocera when they relocated to their native New York. They combine dub, ska and jazz elements for a danceable urban sound.
